How do i uninstall the weather channel desktop 6

Is there a back-door method to remove this crap? It's not malware. I went to their site and downloaded and installed it. It's a valid program and Defender doesn't recognize it anyway. Only that it's buggy -- it occasionally shows the lower-right corner of what it's presenting in the upper-left corner of a large blue rectangle. Restarting it rarely fixes it; rebooting only occasionally does. So I tried to remove it and got the above.

I ran the "Change Startup Programs" to disable and remove it from starting up, then rebooted. Tried to remove it again, same problem. Note that some apps and programs are built into Windows and can't be uninstalled. You can try to repair a program first, if it's just not running correctly.
